Hello! My name is Moxie Saturday,(they/them) I'm a 29 year old freelance artist living in Philadelphia, PA, USA. I like to foster cats to help out the local shelter, ride my bike around town exploring restaurants and coffee shops, take pictures of things I find inspiring, and marvel at all the great museums. I recently moved into my first 1bd apartment in my life with no roommates and I'm super grateful for that every day! My whole life I've LOVED drawing. My art passions are traditional drawings and paintings of scifi, fantasy and horror monsters, figurative stuff, bright colors and visceral emotions, and working on my comic Dear Skin. I've been doing art full time for about four years now, with a focus on selling online. I really love the community of people I've met, learned from, and shared knowledge with so far, it's great! I really feel like I'm just starting out and I'm eager to learn and move forward, try new things. Thanks for joining me on my journey :)

This year I'd like to focus on growing my Patreon page to make working on my comic Dear Skin full-time more sustainable, since I am planning on keeping it a 'secret' unpublished work until it's totally done because it's meant to be read as a full graphic novel, and it is going to be quite long and a lot of work. I would also love to explore new mediums such as 3d art like sculpting and dolls, and start to make clothing with a local shop in my town. One of my goals is also to practice oil painting and hang my art in gallery or shop in Philadelphia. I would also love to start a local regular drawing meetup and create a fun community in 'real life' as well :) I would really like to slow down, and do bigger, more challenging and more emotionally expressive paintings that I can feel really proud of.
